Turkey Burritos
This is a family favorite that is quick, easy, tasty, and cost effective. I mean, who doesn't love a good taco or burrito? Being able to have this on the table in 15 minutes makes this one of my back up meals for when I forgot to thaw meat, we are in a time crunch, or just got home later than we expected.
I use ground turkey here because of it costs less than ground beef and once all of the spices are added, you can hardly tell the difference! My meat and spices come from Sam's. I buy the large container of each spice. If you use lots of spices or have a friend that is willing to split them with you, you can often find them in bulk at international groceries for far cheaper. Refried beans, tortillas, salsa, and jalapenos come from Aldi. Cheese lettuce and onion are from Sam's and sour cream from Wal-Mart. Your cost may vary depending on the toppings your family prefers, but all are usually relatively low cost.
